I have published an application, and managed to run it in the LAN successfully. However, when I launch it outside my network it fails to run. How do I allow the users to run the application inside and outside my network? |

1) Set the published application to work in Gateway mode, by using one of the Network Names "Gateway" or "Smart Internal"
(WebConnect Administration Tool -> Double click the published application -> Information -> Advanced -> Network Name).
2) Set the correct external IP address in ComPortal.ini:
A) Open the ComPortal.ini file for editing (Notepad):
(C:\Program Files\Ericom Software\WebConnect 5.6\ComPortal\ComPortal.ini)
B) Search the following line, and specify WebConnect external (Internet) IP address:
CustomAddress=
For example:
CustomAddress=10.10.10.10
C) Save the change. |
